Find a time that works for everyone

Pick the days and hours, send one link, and let each person paint when they are free. The best time shows itself.

Which days?
Different hours on some days

Each day offers the hours above unless you change it here.

How it works

  1. Name the plan, then pick specific dates on the calendar or days of the week, and the hours to choose from.
  2. Create the poll and send the link to everyone, by chat, email or text. Keep your organiser link to yourself.
  3. Each person writes their name and paints the slots they can make: yes, or “if need be”.
  4. Everyone’s grid fills in as answers arrive. Pick the best time, add it to your calendar, and close the poll.

What it does

No accounts, for anyone
Nobody signs up: not you, not the people answering. A name is all a person types.
Change your answer any time
Each person gets their own private link to change their times later, from any device, while the poll is open, or to remove their answer. Only that link and the organiser’s can change an answer; anyone can answer under any name, so a name already used is pointed out.
Every time zone at once
A poll with dates is shown in each visitor’s own time zone, so a group spread across countries sees the same moments in their own local times.
The best time, and the next best
The poll lists the times everyone can make for the meeting length you choose. When there is none, it lists the times all but one person can make, and names who.
Weekly or dated
Pick real dates for a one-off meeting, or days of the week for a regular class, practice or shift, with no dates at all.
Private when you need it
The organiser can hide the answers so each person sees only their own, and can close the poll when it is decided.

Questions

Do the people answering need an account or an app?

No. They open the link in any browser, type a name, and paint their times. Nothing to install and no email address asked.

How do I change my answer later?

This browser remembers your answer, so opening the poll again shows your times ready to change. To change them from another device, use the private link the page shows after you save.

What does “if need be” mean?

It marks a time you could make but would rather not. The best times are the ones the most people can make; between times that tie, more firm yeses come first, so an “if need be” time wins only when it brings more people.

How are time zones handled?

When you make a poll with dates, the times are fixed moments, set in your time zone. Each visitor sees them in their own time zone and can switch to any other. A weekly poll has no dates, so its times are the same clock times for everyone.

I lost my organiser link. Can I get it back?

The browser you made the poll in remembers it: open this page there and it is listed under “Your polls on this device”. There is no email recovery, because we never ask for your email.

How long is a poll kept?

Until 90 days after its last date or its last change, whichever is later; then it is deleted. The organiser can delete it at any time.

Who can see the answers?

Everyone with the link sees the names and times, unless the organiser chooses to hide them; then only the organiser sees them all.

How many people and times can a poll have?

Up to 300 people and up to 2,016 time slots (for example, a whole week, day and night, in 15-minute steps is 672; a month of evenings in half-hours is far fewer).
