Spin the wheel
Type one entry per line, then spin. The winner is picked fairly before the wheel moves, and the wheel lands on it.

How it works
- Type or paste your entries, one per line, or open a .txt or .csv file. Add *3 after an entry to give it three times the slice.
- Press Spin, click the wheel, or press the space bar.
- Choose what happens to a winner: keep it, remove it, or let everyone have one turn before anyone goes again.
- Share the wheel as a link, or go full screen for a class or a stream.
What it does
- Everyone gets a turn
- In “everyone once” mode nobody is picked twice until the whole list has been picked — the fair way to call on a class or a team.
- Full screen on any phone
- The full-screen view works on iPhone too, with nothing around the wheel but the wheel.
- A link that carries the list
- Share the wheel and the list travels inside the link. No account, nothing stored on our side.
- Fair, and you can tell
- The result comes from the browser’s cryptographic random source; the spin only shows it. No weights are hidden in the wheel.
Questions
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is drawn with your browser’s cryptographic random generator, with no bias towards any slice, and the wheel is then turned to land on that winner. Every entry has the same chance, unless you gave it a weight (*3) or typed it more than once.
How many names can I put on the wheel?
Up to 1,000 entries. Past about 200 the names stop fitting on the slices, so the winner is shown in large text when the wheel stops.
Can I remove the winner after each spin?
Yes. Pick “remove the winner” and each winner leaves the list after its spin, which makes elimination rounds and prize draws easy. “Everyone once” is the gentler version: it brings everyone back once the list is used up.
Will my list be saved?
In this browser, yes: the next time you open any tool here, your list is waiting. It never leaves your device unless you share the link yourself.
How do weights work?
Write *2, *3 … up to *100 at the end of a line and that entry gets a slice that many times as wide, and exactly that many times the chance. “Ana *3” beside “Luis” wins three spins in four, on average. A plain line counts once.
Can I check the wheel is fair myself?
Press “Test 10,000 spins” under the history. It runs the same draw the wheel uses ten thousand times on your list as it stands, weights and all, and puts each entry’s expected share beside the share it actually got. Gaps of a point or so are normal chance.
Can I keep a record of the spins?
Every result goes into the history with its time. Copy it, download it as a .csv for a spreadsheet, or clear it. The history is kept in this browser only.
